Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Yanpin Yanzi LLC, doing business as YP PETS (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.yanpinstyle.com, place an order, upload a pet photo, contact us, or otherwise use our services.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes certain personal information when you browse or purchase from our store. Please also review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with our store, we may collect:

• Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
• Order information: products purchased, customization selections, order notes, transaction status, shipping details, and order history.
• Custom-order content: uploaded pet photos, pet names, dates, messages, and other personalization details.
• Communications: emails, customer-support requests, preview approvals, revision requests, reviews, and feedback.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our store.
• Payment information: payment status and limited transaction details provided by Shopify and our payment processors. We do not independently store complete payment-card numbers.

2. Uploaded Pet Photos and Customization Information

We use uploaded pet photos and customization details to review image quality, create your portrait, prepare and send a digital preview, make approved adjustments, produce your keepsake, fulfill your order, and provide customer support.

We may use AI-assisted tools to remove backgrounds, improve clarity, and refine visual details while working from your submitted photo. These tools assist our production process; they do not replace your pet with a generic AI-generated image.

Uploaded photos may be processed by service providers that assist with secure file uploading, temporary storage, and image preparation. We limit their use of the photos to services needed to fulfill your order.

Photo retention: We generally delete uploaded pet photos after the order is completed. Uploaded photos are retained for no longer than 30 days unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to resolve an order issue, respond to a customer request, prevent fraud, or comply with law.

We do not use private order photos or completed custom keepsakes for advertising, social media, or other promotional purposes without your separate permission. Uploaded pet photos are not used by us for targeted advertising.

3. How We Use Personal Information

• To process payments, create custom products, fulfill orders, and arrange delivery.
• To send order confirmations, digital previews, production updates, shipping notifications, and tracking information.
• To respond to questions, provide support, handle revisions, and resolve order problems.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our store and customer experience.
• To detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
• To maintain business, tax, accounting, and legal records.
• To send marketing communications when you have subscribed or when otherwise permitted by law.

4. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify hosts our store and processes customer, device, browsing, transaction, and purchase information to provide its platform, payment, fraud-prevention, personalization, analytics, and other services.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Shopify may securely use information from your interactions with our store together with information from your interactions with Shopify and other merchants to provide Enhanced Services, such as improved fraud protection, store performance, personalization, and advertising-related services.

Depending on your state, some of this processing may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising. You may exercise applicable opt-out rights through our Your Privacy Choices page, supported browser signals such as Global Privacy Control, or Shopify’s privacy portal.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary, including:

• Shopify and payment-processing providers.
• Photo-upload, temporary-storage, and AI-assisted image-processing providers.
• USPS, UPS, FedEx, and order-tracking providers.
• Email, customer-support, fraud-prevention, security, and technical-service providers.
• Professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.
• Parties involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Shopify and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the storefront, maintain the cart and checkout, remember preferences, prevent fraud, understand store performance, and provide permitted personalization and analytics.

We currently do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or TikTok Pixel. If we introduce additional advertising or analytics tools, we will update our disclosures and applicable consent controls before using them as required.

Where available, you can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or Cookie Preferences link on our store. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although some store functions may not work correctly.

7. Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to marketing emails, we may use your email address to send store news, product announcements, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary order, preview, support, or shipping communications.

Except for uploaded pet photos as described above, we retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide support, maintain required business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason it is processed.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email.

10. Your U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on your state and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Request access to or a copy of certain personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Opt out of certain data sharing or targeted advertising.

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

12. Processing in Other Locations

Although our store currently serves shoppers in the United States, Shopify and other service providers may process or store information in other states or countries. When this occurs, those providers process information under their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
