    What kind of photo should I upload?

    Choose a clear, well-lit original photo. Make sure the pets and any people you want included are visible. For a scene-based portrait, include the surroundings that matter to you. Avoid blurry screenshots and heavy filters.

    Will the portrait look exactly like my photo?

    Your photo guides the pose, markings, and scene. Storybook illustration uses soft colors and simplified shapes, so fine details and backgrounds may be interpreted rather than copied exactly.

    Is this a painting or a print?

    You receive a custom illustration printed on matte paper and fitted into your selected frame. It is not an original hand-painted canvas or a floral shadow box.

    Can I add a name or special request?

    Use the optional portrait notes to tell us about important details, names, or wording. For a complex scene or a request beyond the examples shown, contact us before ordering.

    How do I choose a size?

    Choose a size in Step 1 and a frame color in Step 2. Measure your intended display space before ordering. The smaller option and larger options have different proportions, so the composition may be adjusted to fit.

    Can the paper differ between sizes?

    Yes. Paper stock and printing methods may vary by size. The portrait style and matte finish remain the focus. Contact us before ordering if you need a particular paper specification.
